Mel Gives Daughter Murphy's Name

Former 'Spice Girl' Mel B has given her baby daughter, Eddie Murphy's surname.

Mel - full name Melanie Brown - has christened her baby Angel Iris Murphy Brown, despite the fact that the actor denies that he is the father.

A source close to Mel told the Daily Mirror, "Mel was really distraught and humiliated by the way Eddie has treated her."

"She went through the agony of arranging a DNA test when the baby was born and now giving the child his surname is her way of telling the world Angel is his child."
