Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning to build a £5 million bunker under their Colorado home to protect them from alien attacks, reports claim.

A source close to Cruise - who is a leading Scientologist - said the actor is to erect a "self-contained underground system where up to 10 people can survive for years".

The bunker will reportedly include a high-tech air-purification system and storage space for supplies and survival equipment.

Followers of Scientology are thought to believe that an evil galactic overlord named Xenu is planning to invade the planet in an act of revenge.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes enjoyed a high speed jet ski ride while on a family holiday in Sardinia, Italy.

Tom, 45, and Katie, 28, were also joined by their 16-month-old daughter Suri.

The family has since returned to Germany, where Tom is filming WWII movie Valkyrie, reports the Daily Mail.

TomKat Planning Next Addition To The Family?

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning to have another baby, according to sources.

The couple are converting a room in their new house into a nursery, as they prepare to move in next month.

A source revealed that the couple have been talking about the possibility since the birth of baby Suri.

"Tom told Katie how much he loves their little girl and how he wants to have another baby when she's ready," the source told Life and Style Weekly magazine. "She told him she's ready. And in his typically enthusiastic fashion, Tom's moving full steam ahead preparing for a new arrival."

Katie Holmes Threatens Katee Holmes

Katie Holmes is threatening legal action against an actress who changed her name to Katee Holmes and said she plans to lose her virginity in a porn movie.

Katee, 18, is due to star in the adult film later this year and has announced one scene will see her have sex for the first time.

Katee's manager said, "She's using the name as a tribute to Katie, who has always portrayed innocence in whatever she has done."

However, a spokesman for Katie Holmes said, "It's a really cheap shot. Obviously Tom would support Katie in anything she decides to do about it."

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has defended her close friend Katie Holmes and her marriage to Tom Cruise.

In an interview with People, Jada - wife of Will Smith - dismissed claims that Tom Cruise controls his wife. She added that Tom never forced Scientology onto Katie.

Jada said, "Tom don't run nothin' in that house! It is Katie's house. It's her world."

"She's young, she popped into motherhood very fast. If you think about the transition she's done, with as much grace she's had, and on top of it with the attacks – I don't know how she does it."

Friend Denies TomKat Marriage Problems

Tom Cruise's marriage to Katie Holmes is not in trouble, according to actress Jenna Elfman.

Digital Spy reports, Jenna, a friend of the couple denied claims that Holmes is being forced to take on the same religious beliefs as Cruise and is living in a "prison-like environment".

Jenna, who is also a fellow Scientologist said, "It's so absolutely not that. "It's hard to give a detailed explanation on something that's simple."
"Honestly, do you have a great boyfriend or girlfriend? It's not a big deal, right? You have fun hanging out, and you like talking and sharing your ideas. It's exciting. That's their relationship."

Katie Holmes Turns Down Victoria

Victoria Beckham has been left disappointed after A-lister Katie Holmes refused to take part in her new US reality show.

Victoria hoped that her close pal Katie would appear in an episode of the show, but Katie's husband Tom Cruise advised her to focus on comeback movie Mad Money.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday, "Tom doesn't feel a knockabout TV reality show is quite the vehicle for Katie to reignite her career after giving birth to daughter Suri. They're really fond of the Beckhams but this sort of project is not really for A-list performers."

Posh, 32, styled Katie on a two-day magazine shoot, tailoring Tom Cruise's wife in masculine clothes for Harper's Bazaar reports The Mirror.

She says: "I picked many key looks that I thought would work really well. Katie was great to work with, and listened to my suggestions for the shoot. It was hard work and we put in a lot of time preparing it."
