Ex-Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien has given birth to a 7lb 1oz baby girl, reports The Sun.

The baby, her first with lover and former soap co-star Ryan Thomas, 24, was born at 8am yesterday.

A source close to the couple revealed Tina, 25, who played Sarah-Louise Platt, gave birth to the bouncing baby girl at Manchester General Hospital - after trying to induce herself by jumping on a trampoline.

The insider added, “She was desperate to hold her little girl and tried out all the tips to induce the birth. They are so pleased and relieved."

“Both mother and baby are doing very well. They haven’t told anyone the name yet and are keeping ideas close to their chests.”

Baby Boy For Billie Piper

Singer turned actress Billie Piper has given birth to a baby boy named Winston James Fox. The Doctor Who star required an emergency caesarean after a 26 hour labour. The baby was born at 1am, weighing in at 6lb 11oz, reports Telegraph.

The father, actor Laurence Fox, said of his newborn son, "He is beautiful. He is sweet. "Billie is happy, of course she is, she's a mum."

Billie's ex-husband Chris Evans was one of the first visitors. Evans, a Radio 2 presenter, said, "Mum is very happy and I am really pleased. There are some tears of joy up there."

Twins For Brangelina

Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins at a hospital in southern France, reports BBC.

The 33-year-old had a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Caesarean section on Saturday evening, according to her doctor.

Actor Brad Pitt, the twins' father, was by her side in the delivery room.

"He was perfectly calm and everything went well," Dr Michel Sussmann told reporters. "The parents and the babies are in excellent health."

Dr Sussman said the birth had been moved forward "for medical reasons" but did not give further details.

Baby Boy For McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey and his 24-year-old model girlfriend Camila Alves have named their newborn son Levi Alves McConaughey. They welcomed their child into the world on Monday and decided on the name because of its religious significance.

Explaining that Levi is another name for the apostle Matthew in the Bible, Matthew told OK!, "Our son was born at 18.22, and this particular time represents my favourite verse in the book of Matthew in the Bible, 'If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.'"

Baby Girl For Kidman & Urban

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are new parents, after welcoming newborn daughter Sunday Rose into the world. Kidman gave birth in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday, weighing 6 pounds, 7 and a half ounces.

Speaking exclusively to People.com, the pair revealed, "We feel immensely blessed and grateful to be given this beautiful baby girl. She's an absolute delight."

Nicole's father revealed that Sunday is named after famous Australian artist Sidney Nolan's muse Sunday Reed.

"She was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century," Nicole's dad told an Australian newspaper. "The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it."

The baby's second name Rose is named after by Urban's late grandmother.

Former EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite has given birth to her first baby, it was announced.

The 37-year-old star married actor Tom Ellis in June 2006. They have named their first child together Florence Elsie Ellis.
A spokesman said, "We are pleased to announce that Tamzin Outhwaite and Tom Ellis are the proud parents of Florence Elsie Ellis who arrived last week."

Jessica Alba has given birth to a baby girl three weeks after marrying long-term boyfriend Cash Warren, her publicist confirmed today.

Honor Marie Warren was born on Saturday in Los Angeles, Alba's spokesman Brad Cafarelli confirmed in an email to AFP. Honor is the couple's first child.

Alba, 27, and Warren, 29, tied the knot in a secret ceremony on May 19 in Beverly Hills.

Tina Hobley Introduces Baby Olivia

Holby City star Tina Hobley star gave birth to her daughter Olivia Kitty Alice Wheeler by elective Caesarean at London’s private Portland Hospital on Friday 18th April. She was born ten days early and weighed a dainty 7lb 30z. Tina was accompanied at the hospital by her husband Oli Wheeler, 38, a PR executive.

Olivia is Tina’s second child, she has another daughter, Isabella, 9, from her first marriage to Steve Wallington.

Speaking exclusively to Hello! magazine, Tina, 37 said: “It was as perfect as it could have been. We had John Lennon’s Working Class Hero playing in the background and everyone was relaxed. She appeared within five minutes and they pulled the screen down so I could see the whole thing.”

“Oli surprised me because he filmed everything. I didn’t think he would be brave enough and expected him to be sitting next to me holding my hand, but he was in the thick of it, which was great because now we have fantastic footage of a very special moment.”

Holby City actress Tina will return to work just six weeks after giving birth. She explained: “It’s just the way it happened. I went off in January due to storylines, so I suppose I had my maternity leave before she was born. It will be tough going back, because the hours are 7am to 7pm, five days a week. But I am looking forward to it too.”

“I want to go back and show that I can do it all: that I can be a mother of two, do these hours and handle more dramatic storylines.”

TV presenter Kate Thornton has given birth to a baby boy, her spokesperson has confirmed.

The former host of The X Factor, who is engaged to DJ Darren Emerson, gave birth to her first baby, called Ben, earlier this week.

"Mum, dad and baby are doing well and are all very excited," Thornton's spokesperson said.

Louise & Jamie Reknapp Expecting

Singer turned TV presenter Louise Redknapp is three months pregnant with her second child.

The 33-year-old is stunned she conceived just weeks after she started trying for a baby with husband Jamie Redknapp, because it took her four years to become pregnant with their first child Charley. Before falling pregnant with Charley, Louise suffered from the womb condition endometriosis and underwent two laser surgery operations to correct it, reports Daily Mail.

The songstress conceived during the U.S. leg of her tour, 3 months earlier than anticipated. She and her music producer husband, Jordan, 30, met in Atlanta in 2002 and married in November 2005.

The couple has just bought Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s former home and major renovations are underway. Max’s nursery is decorated with specially designed Japanese cartoon wallpaper and is furnished with a gigantic moon - a prop from Christina’s recent tour.

Christina gave birth on January 12th in Los Angeles by planned C-section claiming she ‘didn’t want any surprises’. Speaking to Hello! magazine she said: “I’d heard horror stories about tearing! I really wanted a calm and peaceful environment. It was just a really nice relaxing way to give birth.”

As Jordan is Jewish they also arranged a bris, the Hebrew baby naming and circumcision ritual ceremony.

Jordan was keen to film the birth but doctors restricted him from filming the C-section procedure. He managed to turn the camera on just before they delivered Max. Christina recalled: “Jordan wasn’t squeamish at all. He had the video camera ready to go.”

“The most reassuring thing for me was hearing that first beautiful cry. I just welled up with tears.”

She added: “We can’t stop staring at him. We study him, he studies us back. It’s just an unbelievable experience, the whole journey. It’s just a beautiful time in our lives.”

“Max is going to grow up in a house where there’s lots of love. And lots of lessons will be taught based on being thankful and appreciative.”

Christina wants a big family and says: “We even look forward to possibly one day being open to adopt.”

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have become the parents of a boy and girl.

Lopez gave birth to twins reports People magazine.

A rep for Lopez commented: "Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon."

The twins are Lopez's first children and Anthony's third and fourth.

According to the rumours, she has already ordered not one but two designer cots, with bedding to match. Also the size of her bump has led some to believe that Jennifer Lopez is expecting twins.

The 38-year-old singer and actress, with her husband Marc Anthony, attended a baby shower, where pals bought gifts for the unborn child, some wrapped in pink and some in blue. It is unknown if Jennifer is expecting a boy or girl - due in March.

Corrie Star Pregnant With First Child

Coronation Street star Julia Haworth has revealed that she is pregnant.

The actress, who plays Claire Peacock on the soap, is expecting her first baby with accountant husband Jon Wormold.

She found out the news in November but wanted to keep it quiet until her 12 week scan.

She told The Mirror, "We haven't stopped smiling. It's such a special time and I feel so lucky we're going to share it."

Haworth added that her character's postnatal depression following the birth of son Freddie had helped "prepare" her for being a mother.

She is due to give birth in July.

The 28-year-old married Wormold in May 2006 after a two-year romance.

Christina Aguilera Has A Baby Boy

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman welcomed a baby boy on Saturday at 10:05 pm People has confirmed exclusively.

This is the first child for the 27-year-old singer and her music executive husband.

"Christina and Jordan are proud to announce the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman. He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy!" a rep for the couple tells People. "Mom is resting and doing well!"
In a message later posted on her official Web site, Aguilera tells fans, "Today is a very joyful and special day for Jordan and I as we welcome our first son into this world."

The singer also posted a special video of her song Save Me From Myself, with footage from the couple's personal wedding video.

"Just a little something to say "thank you" for your undying love and support," writes Aguilera. "It is in no small part because of you that I live such a blessed and wonderful life!"
