Jonathan Rhys Meyers has checked into a rehabilitation clinic.The 29-year-old actor from Ireland, who has appeared in various films including 'Match Point' and 'Bend It Like Beckham,' decided to seek treatment for his alcohol dependency.
His representative told People, "After a non-stop succession of filming Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol treatment programme. He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery."
"Jonathan plans to resume his schedule following completion."
