Ludacris Announces Battle Of Sexes Album

Ludacris put on a performance in NY and was joined by Shawnna. The pair announced a new Battle of the Sexes album for 2009.

Rappers Ludacris & Akon are in the Middle East - near Dubai to help launch MTV Arabia, reports TMZ. The pair were spotted on camels which featured steering wheels!

People have listed the Hottest Bachelors of 2007 and the list includes Justin Timberlake, Ludacris and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Shawnna Leaves 3Sum!

Shawnna was interviewed on the radio and revealed that she is no longer a part of the 'female super group' 3Sum!

This leaves Remy Ma and Jacki-O as a duo. It is not known if they will continue or replace Shawnna.

Shawnna is still friends with Jacki and Remy saying, "I love Remy, I love Jacki."

Also Shawnna said will be releasing an album with Ludacris. She said she's gonna "make his [Luda's] hair grow back."

Ludacris Loses His Father

Wayne Bridges, the father of rapper Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, died on Sunday at age 52 – just two weeks after his son dedicated a Grammy victory to him, reports US.

The famly said in a statement:
"We are overwhelmed by the generous outpouring of love, condolences and support from family members, friends, fans and the many well wishers, we thank you for your prayers and hope you will understand our need for privacy during this sorrowful time."

Ludacris, 29, won for best rap album at the Feb. 11 Grammy Awards.

In his acceptance speech, he thanked his then-seriously ill father and dedicated the award to him.

When he went backstage Luda said, "I just told millions of people that their prayers are appreciated, he is the reason I am in this music field today. When I was young, how many different genres of different music he used to play for me. So you know, my appreciation for music definitely goes to him and that's why I dedicated my award to him."
