Blackberry Curve 8300 Launch

Last night was the launch of the Blackberry Curve 8300 at Kensington Roof Gardens in London.

Celebs who attended included Corrine Bailey Rae, Will Young, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Jessie Wallace.

All Saints singers Shaznay Lewis and Melanie Blatt were also among the stars at the launch which saw Natasha Bedingfield belt out her latest hits.

Making the most of their fame 'Shipwrecked' stars Ben Lunt and Lianne Dauben were in attendance too and saw Mark Ronson appear as guest DJ.

The latest BlackBerry on the market looks slick and boasts various features including a 2 megapixel digital camera and Internet.

The celebs also sipped on drinks to go with the BlackBerry theme: Blackberry Cooler & Berry Spice.

Aretha Decides Against Corinne

Singer Corinne Bailey Rae was nearly picked by Aretha Franklin to star in the movie of her life story - but the queen of soul changed her mind after seeing her on TV, reports The Mirror.
The legendary diva, who is currently holding auditions for her musical Aretha: From These Roots in Detroit, told Radio 1Xtra's TXU show, "Yeah, I just saw Corinne. I thought she was very nice - she's a very nice singer.

"I almost cast her as one of the characters in my play and in the movie, but when I saw her on TV... well, her pictures look one way and when I saw her on TV she looked a little different so I don't think so."

Poor Corinne, so near yet so far...

Lady Sovereign On Lily Allen

Lady Sovereign has lashed out at fellow Brit star Lily Allen for being "the biggest chav going."

Lady Sov, 21, did not hold back when describing Lily and how she go her fame.

In an interview with the Observer Music Monthly magazine Lady Sov said:

"I'm not hating on her but someone like Lily Allen, just 'cause her dad's famous, doesn't have to work as hard as someone like me. You get some of the media hating people 'cause they're 'chavish' but she's the biggest chav going."

Lady Sov also called Corinne Bailey Rae "boring", Lily said the same thing about Corinne last week.

What does Corinne think of Lily and Lady Sov's comments?

Lady Sovereign Feuds With Corinne Bailey Rae

First it was Lily Allen, now Lady Sovereign has had a rant about Corinne Bailey Rae.

The pair had to be kept apart after Lady Sov, 21, laid into Corinne backstage at a recording for T4.

Sovereign, 21, told the 3am Girls:

"I told her she was boring and that she should be called Corinne "Boring" Rae. I think she's a fake. She's too nice. She sings about life being as sweet as roses but it's not. It's crap."

Corrine failed to take the bait and get into an argument.

Lady Sov continued, "Corinne just said 'whatever' and turned on her heels like she was The Queen."
