Serbia Win Eurovision Song Contest

Serbia has won the Eurovision Song Contest. Favourites Ukraine came second.

Marija Serifovic won over Europe with her ballad 'Molitva,' or 'Prayer.'

UK hopefuls Scooch came second-to-last with 19 points and Ireland were last with just 5 points.

Odds Of Scooch's Eurovision Victory = 0

The UK's Eurovision entry ‘Flying The Flag [For You]’ by Scooch is a 28-1 outsider to win the Eurovision Song Contest tonight.

According to bookies Ukraine’s - drag act - Verka Seduchka is 5-1 favourite to triumph in Helsinki.

Scooch’s Russ Spencer said, “We decided to do it because we felt it was our job to bring Eurovision back to its former glory. The UK hasn't done too well of late and we're taking it back to pure pop music."

This is Eurovision, how on earth can you have odds on who is going to win?! Hopefully Scooch will do the UK proud.

Scooch Aren't Impressed With Charlotte

Scooch have hit back at Charlotte Church after the she criticised their Eurovision entry, reports DigitalSpy.

Church said that their performance, "made every pore in my body itch with embarrassment".

Scooch have now hot back at the singer turned presenter.

Scooch singer Russ Spencer said: "What a pity that the voice of an angel has acquired the mouth of a sewer."

His bandmate Natalie Powers added: "As a mother of a young child myself I find her behaviour and language quite unacceptable. What kind of role model is this for a mum-to-be?"

Former Darkness singer Justin Hawkins will be teaming up with soul singer Beverlei Brown Former East 17 singer Brian Harvey and ex Atomic Kitten babe Liz McClarnon are Eurovision hopefuls too. There is also a French singer called Cyndi, but I have been unsuccessful in finding any info on her.
