Bad Lashes : Louis 'Loves Boy Groups'

X Factor rejects Bad Lashes have claimed judge and mentor Louis Walsh focused his attention on boyband JLS.

Member Emily McNamee said, "He loves boy groups, that's his thing. Boy groups are totally his thing."

The band confessed they would have preferred to have had Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole as their mentor, and even Walsh told them to seek her advice.

The girl-group were the first of the final 12 acts to be voted off the show on Saturday night following the viewers vote after performing Wonderwall.

ITV1 said that 10.4 million viewers tuned in to watch the first live show.

Minogue Felt "Bullied" By Sharon & Louis

Dannii Minogue has blasted Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh for their attempts to "bully" her on the set of The X Factor.

The Aussie singer admitted that she struggled to cope with Sharon and Louis's treatment of her when she joined the show last year.

"I was so happy just to be happy when I got that job," Dannii told Celebs on Sunday magazine. "And then I found myself having to find a lot of strength to get through the day. I remember the first day I was like a scared mouse, especially when I realised Sharon had some personal mission against me. It grew as the show went on, and I still to this day have no idea why."

"I can only guess that it's jealousy, because there's nothing else I can pin it down to. There were a lot of days when I felt like I was being bullied."

Minogue confirmed that Simon Cowell has become a "close friend" since they worked together on the programme, but she is not looking forward to seeing Osbourne and Walsh again when filming for the new series starts next month.

"I'm hoping I can find it funny this time because last time, some days, it really wasn't funny," Dannii explained. "I'm just so thankful it wasn't just me, Sharon and Louis otherwise I don't think I'd be going back to work."

Cowell Threatens X Factor Judges With The Sack

Simon Cowell has threatened to sack X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue if they do not learn to get along.

Sharon and Dannii's feud was the topic on everyone's lips during last year's (boring) series. The pair denied any rumours of a conflict despite reports of backstage bust-ups.

However, the pair's rivalry became public when Dannii complained that Sharon and Louis Walsh were trying to bully her. Sharon was then criticisied by Simon after she mocked Danni and claimed that the Aussie star was only hired for her looks.

A source told The Sun, "It's nearly contract time again. Sharon said she doesn't want to come back with Dannii - and Dannii said she doesn't want to work with Sharon."

"But Simon has banged both their heads together and told them, 'If you don't shut up - I can replace you both'. They don't have to be best friends - but they do have to work together."

The insider added, "Bosses know that viewers were hooked on the backstage battles between Sharon and Dannii and they want to keep them both on board - it makes for very interesting TV."

Louis Walsh was axed before last year's series and replaced by Brian Friedman. However Friedman later found another position on the show and Walsh returned to The X Factor.

FYI Those Houses Were Not Theirs

Louis Walsh has admitted that the 'judges' houses' that were shown on The X Factor were not really theirs, reports Digital Spy.

When the X Factor contestants travelled to four different places to find out if they will get through to the next round we assumed that the judges took the wannabes to their respective houses.

The groups visited Simon Cowell in Marbella, the boys went to see Dannii Minogue in Ibiza, the girls flew to Los Angeles to meet Sharon Osbourne, while the Over-25s were taken to Dublin by Louis Walsh.

But Walsh revealed on the Graham Norton Show that the houses featured did not belong to any of the judges.

He said, "That wasn't my house. That wasn't Sharon's house or Dannii's house or Simon's house either.

"Sharon sold her house to Christina Aguilera, so that was a rented house. Mine was a rented house. I wouldn't have had all that rubbish in my house - the stuff on the walls and the lights and all that."

A spokesperson for the ITV show said: "The contestants are invited to a house. We call them the judges' houses, not the judges' homes.”

"We have never said they are the judges' real homes and it has been this way for the past four years."

Pussycat Doll Joining Team Sharon?

Sharon Osbourne has recruited Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger for her X Factor team, according to a report.

The 54-year-old is the only original judge who has not yet won the X Factor, and hopes that Nicole will help her to guide a contestant to victory.

As usual, Simon Cowell is being assisted by 80s pop star Sinitta, while Louis Walsh has decided to work with Westlife star Kian Egan again. New judge Dannii Minogue has called in music producer Terry Roland to join her team.

An insider told the Daily Star Sunday, "Getting Nicole on her team is a big boost for Sharon. Not only is she the lead singer in the most successful girl band around - but she is also extremely sexy. Sharon knows she can't compete with Dannii in the sex appeal stakes herself - so she has brought in someone who can."

X Factor Reject Warns Louis Walsh

X Factor reject Johnny Rocco has issued another warning to Louis Walsh.

After being called a "pub entertainer" by Louis at the Manchester auditions, the 67-year-old reacted angrily to the comment made by the Irish judge - see video below.

"I'm not a violent man but in the case of that leprechaun I could make an exception," Johnny told the Daily Star Sunday. "I've done some boxing in the past and I'd like to get Louis in the ring. I'm taking kick-boxing lessons so he'd better beware."

He added, "I love the mafia, Godfather and Sopranos - and I have always wanted to be in a mafia-type film. I don't regret doing it. I really can't understand how that talentless squirt has made millions of pounds and I haven't."

Simon Admits He Did Wrong By Louis

Simon Cowell has admitted that he should have called Louis Walsh to tell him he had been axed from The X Factor.

Simon was criticised by many - including Sharon Osbourne - for failing to inform Walsh personally that he would not be a judge on the new series of the show.

He told The Sun: “I should have called Louis - he has every reason to believe he’s been stabbed in the back. At some stage we are going to have a conversation and I’ll see how he feels."

“But he’s got to get off his chest what he wants to get off his chest - he thinks I stabbed him in the back.”

Louis Plans His Revenge Against Simon

Louis Walsh is taking revenge on Simon Cowell for booting him off The X Factor - by joining BBC show Any Dream Will Do, reports Mirror.

Louis will help out the series in which people audition for the lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

It will go head-to-head with ITV's rival Grease is the Word - which is produced by Cowell.

Louis is said to have jumped at the chance; a source revealed: "He was really hurt by the way Simon dropped him without even speaking to him directly.

"The BBC moved fast to ask if he'd like to help out.

"He is delighted to be working for the Beeb - and the fact that he'll be going up against Cowell's show makes it even sweeter."
