Kidman & Urban Confirm Pregnancy

Nicole Kidman and her husband of 18 months have confirmed they are expecting their first child.

The Oscar-winning actress and her husband, country singer Keith Urban, are said to be "thrilled" at the news.

Kidman aloready has two adopted children - when she was married to Tom Cruise. It was also revealed in the past that Nicole miscarried Cruise's child while the pair were together.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning to build a £5 million bunker under their Colorado home to protect them from alien attacks, reports claim.

A source close to Cruise - who is a leading Scientologist - said the actor is to erect a "self-contained underground system where up to 10 people can survive for years".

The bunker will reportedly include a high-tech air-purification system and storage space for supplies and survival equipment.

Followers of Scientology are thought to believe that an evil galactic overlord named Xenu is planning to invade the planet in an act of revenge.

Kidman Reveals Miscarriage Trauma

Nicole Kidman told Vanity Fair magazine she suffered a miscarriage when she was 23-years-old.

She said, "From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic."

The 40-year-old actress and Cruise, who were married for over 11 years, went on to adopt two children. The couple, who divorced in 2001, adopted Bella, now 14, and Connor, 12, two years after they lost their baby.

Kidman, who married country singer Keith Urban last year, said she is desperate to have a baby with him.

The couple are converting a room in their new house into a nursery, as they prepare to move in next month.

A source revealed that the couple have been talking about the possibility since the birth of baby Suri.

"Tom told Katie how much he loves their little girl and how he wants to have another baby when she's ready," the source told Life and Style Weekly magazine. "She told him she's ready. And in his typically enthusiastic fashion, Tom's moving full steam ahead preparing for a new arrival."

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has defended her close friend Katie Holmes and her marriage to Tom Cruise.

In an interview with People, Jada - wife of Will Smith - dismissed claims that Tom Cruise controls his wife. She added that Tom never forced Scientology onto Katie.

Jada said, "Tom don't run nothin' in that house! It is Katie's house. It's her world."

"She's young, she popped into motherhood very fast. If you think about the transition she's done, with as much grace she's had, and on top of it with the attacks – I don't know how she does it."

"Kate ain't no little wimpy kitty cat," she is a "tigress".

Friend Denies TomKat Marriage Problems

Tom Cruise's marriage to Katie Holmes is not in trouble, according to actress Jenna Elfman.

Digital Spy reports, Jenna, a friend of the couple denied claims that Holmes is being forced to take on the same religious beliefs as Cruise and is living in a "prison-like environment".

Jenna, who is also a fellow Scientologist said, "It's so absolutely not that. "It's hard to give a detailed explanation on something that's simple."
"Honestly, do you have a great boyfriend or girlfriend? It's not a big deal, right? You have fun hanging out, and you like talking and sharing your ideas. It's exciting. That's their relationship."

Katie Holmes Turns Down Victoria

Victoria Beckham has been left disappointed after A-lister Katie Holmes refused to take part in her new US reality show.

Victoria hoped that her close pal Katie would appear in an episode of the show, but Katie's husband Tom Cruise advised her to focus on comeback movie Mad Money.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday, "Tom doesn't feel a knockabout TV reality show is quite the vehicle for Katie to reignite her career after giving birth to daughter Suri. They're really fond of the Beckhams but this sort of project is not really for A-list performers."
