Celebrity Big Brother on a high


According to reports the number of viewers for Celebrity BB increased from 3.5 million on Monday to 4.5 milion on Tuesday

Ofcom revealed that it was looking into 4,500 complaints that were made about the treatment of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.

Meanwhile in an interview with Teletext former Celeb BB contestant Faria Alam believed that bullying was taking place but said it was not racism because"Jermaine Jackson hasn't been included". She also branded the housemates as "trailer park trash"

The race row has also made it to India with newspapers running the story on the front page and the Indian government is threatenng to take action according to reports.

In an interview with five news, Shilpas mother said that there should be rules in place and to see her daughter cry was "sad."

Hertfordshire Police confirmed that they are looking into emails that were sent to Channel 4 threatening certain housemates, but refused to idenify who the targeted housemates were.
