Kylie Minogue is teaming up with a one-time supermarket shelf stacker for her next album.
The pop princess has drafted in Calvin Harris to pen lyrics for the record after he built up a cult following on MySpace.
Harris, from Dumfries, had been sending demos to record companies for years in the hope of getting noticed but failed to get anywhere before he turned to the web.
But his tunes caught the attention of a top producer, who passed his details onto Kylie.
A spokesman for Kylie said: "She has been working on some tracks with Calvin. Kylie heard stuff he'd done and liked it. Things are going well."
