Jennifer Ellison, who split from fiancé Tony Richardson amid accusations of abuse, says she’s turned her life around, thanks to new boyfriend, Robbie Tickle, 29.Jennifer, 25, and Robbie have been dating for seven months and have already discussed marriage.
Speaking to Closer magazine, the actress said: “Me and Rob haven’t been together long, but when you fall madly in love with someone, you don’t need to wait five years to take it to the next level. We’ll get married next year – but it won’t be a big celeb wedding, I only want an intimate affair with family and friends.”
Jennifer met Robbie, a semi-pro boxer, on a night out with friends and says she has no fears about this relationship. “Rob would never do anything terrible to me – I’ve got no doubts about that,” she says. “He has changed me as a person. I was so tense before, as Tony left me feeling insecure. But I’m so happy now.”
Jen can’t wait to start a family, she told Closer: “I’d love children. I want three, but I’m busy with work so it’s on hold. Robbie already has seven-year-old twins from a previous relationship. I get on really well with them so that’s a good sign.”
