Mark Speight is no longer being treated as a murder suspect by police over the death of his fiancee, Natasha Collins.
The 'SMart' presenter was arrested and bailed after finding her body at their home.
A police statement has now said the man in his 40s who was arrested at the scene on Thursday had had his bail over suspicion of murder cancelled.
It added that he remained bailed to return in February regarding suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.
An inquest on Tuesday heard the death of 31-year-old Ms Collins was being treated as "non-suspicious at this stage".
Police have also said a post-mortem on her body was "inconclusive".
The presenter has insisted he had nothing to do with Ms Collins' death.
