Actress Samantha Seager is set to leave Coronation Street after just six months, reports The Sun. She plays Jodie Morton on the soap and the rest of the Morton clan will be staying.

Wendi Peters (Cilla Battersby-Brown), Tina O'Brien (Sarah Platt), Rupert Hill (Jamie Baldwin) and Jenny Platt (Violet Wilson) will all leave within the next seven months according to DigitalSpy. Bruce Jones (Les Battersby) quit in May and Liz Dawn (Vera Duckworth) also revealed that she will be leaving.

But you can expect to see more of Vernon and Becky in Weatherfield as Ian Reddington and Kate Kelly have signed contracts which mean that the pair will stick around for another year, reports The Mirror.
