Emmerdale actress Adele Silva is to take a twelve-month break from the soap.Silva, who plays Kelly Windsor, is hoping to try out new roles when she leaves later this year. Producers are confident that she will return in 2008.
A source told The Mirror, "She has been thinking about leaving for a while to try out new things and is really looking forward to the future."
Silva previously left the soap in 2000 but returned in 2005.
