Just hours after appearing at the MTV Movie Awards, Paris Hilton checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in California. She still had on her make-up from the ceremony as she posed for her glamorous mugshot.Her first meal consisted of cereal, bread and juice.
The pictures above show a teary Paris - with her mum Kathy - before starting her 23-day prison sentence.
