Nikki Sanderson will return to Coronation Street at the end of the year as Candice Stowe.The 23-year-old actress played hairdresser Candice for six years before quitting in 2005.
An insider told The Mirror, "She was a big favourite with viewers and her character is one of the sexiest we've had in recent years. It's great to have her back."
Speaking of her return, Nikki said, "I absolutely adore the show and everything to do with it. It was just a case of wanting to spread my wings and try something new when I left."
Her return will be before Tina O'Brien makes her exit later this year.
