Television presenter Chris Tarrant was arrested yesterday evening following an alleged incident in a curry house, reports BBC.Police were called to an Indian restaurant in Nottingham at 10pm on Sunday by a man who claimed he had been assaulted.
Police arrived and later arrested the 60-year-old 'Who Wants To Be A Millioanire?' presenter who was apparently throwing cutlery.
But his publicist said, "There was no physical contact, no unpleasantness and no hostility"
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said he was "bailed to a date in June pending further inquiries".
