Helen Mirren has explained why she declined the Queen's invitation to dine with her at Buckingham Palace.According to the Mirror, Helen's refusal caused upset and anger amongst royal officials, but she has now come forth to explain.
The actress, 61, who played the role of The Queen, told the Mirror, "I was honoured to be invited but was working in South Dakota. It was impossible to change."
She was working on her latest film National Treasure: Book Of Secrets in the Black Hills of South Dakota along with Nicolas Cage.
