Soap Bubbles

From Hollyoaks To The Bill
Hollyoaks star Ali Bastian - who played Becca - has joined the cast of The Bill.

She will arrive at Sun Hill in July as new recruit Sally Armstrong.

Ali told The Sun. "I'm looking forward to getting started - one of my first jobs is to meet with Met Police to research the part. It's going to be really exciting - seeing how it's all done for real."

Corrie Prossie
Coronation Street will play host to its first ever prostitute when Leanne Battersby returns to the soap next month.

A source told the Mirror: "It’s one of our racier storylines and we believe it will be a ratings winner, sparking much debate. "Leanne’s always been a feisty and sexy girl who could fall off the rails. She cannot see anything wrong in being an escort girl – if the money’s there she’s up for it."

Actor Quits Corrie After Less Than Six Months
Sean Gallagher, who plays Paul Connor on Coronation Street has quit the soap after only five months on screen.

The 40-year-old actor's character will be killed off this summer in a dramatic storyline that will place his family at the forefront of the Weatherfield soap.

Speaking to the News of The World, Gallagher revealed: "Working on Corrie was everything I hoped for and more. But I like variety and I'm looking forward to taking on some new roles."
It is believed that the rest of the Connor clan are here to say.
