Jade's "Private" Trip To India

Jade Goody is on what she calls a "private" trip to India. The reality TV star was joined by many reporters.

She insisted that the trip was not a gimmick to boost her image after her shameful treatment of housemate Shilpa Shetty.

To prove that it was not all for publicity, she even held a press conference at her five-star hotel before taking to the streets of New Delhi.

Jade, 25, said: "This was not a publicity stunt. Nobody knew I was coming out here."

Jade handed over her £25,000 BB fee to a local runaway children's group in a bid for forgiveness over her racist comments aimed at Bollywood star Shilpa.

After visiting the Anubhav charity, she said:

"I don't want the money. It's dirty money because it caused a lot of pain to a lot of people, I'm here to say sorry to the Indian community."
