Cameron Diaz has accepted substantial libel damages from a US tabloid reports the BBC.Diaz, 34 sued publishers American Media Incorporated over pictures and a story that appeared on the National Enquirer website in May 2005.
It claimed that Diaz was cheating on her then boyfriend Justin Timberlake with a married man, who was a TV producer.
The magazine has apologised to Cameron Diaz and accepted that the story was not true.
