Broadcast Live from London, the BRITs were opened with a fabulous performance from Scissor Sisters who performed Don't Feel Like Dancing. Snow Patrol also put on an enjoyable performance, but with less glamour than the Scissor Sisters.

Is it just me, or did Fearne Cotton look a little different and weird?

The Frattellis who won British Breakthrough Act, looked drunk even though [it looked like] they were clutching a bottle of Irn Bru.

Then it was time for the performance I was waiting for. Amy Winehouse had it tough, she had to sing AND keep her hair in place at the same time. It looked like she was dressed as ECW Diva Ariel.

Joss Stone looked erm, colourful.

Lemar was a good sport when he lost out to James Morrison in the Best British Male Category.

Justin Timberlake was crowned as the Best Male Solo Artist, and sent a recorded message, as he is currently on tour.

Jo Whiley [with her gorgeous voice] announced that the Best British Female artist was Goss UK fave Amy Winehouse. Lily Allen looked cool with the decision.

Russell revealed that Britney was not nominated for in the Best International Female category because she has been releasing pics of her vagina rather than songs!

Nelly Furtado [who was looking very cute] fought off tough competition when she was announced as the Best International Female.
The Mirror reports that when a fan told Lily she should have won an award, she responded: "I f**king know."
