Borat Banned

Sacha Baron Cohen has been banned from presenting an Oscar, while appearing in the form of Borat, tomorrow night.

The comedian hoped to appear as the Kazakh reporter at the ceremony but organisers decided that the controversial character's "risque" humour would be inappropriate.

An insider told The Mirror: "Oscars organisers and Sacha were looking forward to working together and talks for him to present an award were at an advanced stage. But when Sacha said he wanted to be Borat, they told him it wasn't possible."
