Ty Pennington was sentenced on Friday for driving under the influence of alcohol. Pennington received 3 years probation, a $1,500 fine, and was ordered to attend a 90-day alcohol awareness program.According to People, Pennington said in a statement, "I'm happy to bring closure to my recent court proceedings. Drinking and driving is never acceptable. I have pleaded no contest and will abide by the court's ruling. I hope this experience can help others as much as it has helped me."
The 'Extreme Makeover' host added, "I made a really bad error in judgment."
