According to sources Liz Hurley has has failed to pay the vicar who conducted her wedding ceremony to millionaire businessman Arun Nayar in February this year [2007].
Despite Liz signing a multi-million pound deal with Hello! magazine, Reverend John Partington has not been paid his fee of £800 for conducting the ceremony. Liz & Arun's £2 million wedding took place at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe.
Winchcombe locals are angry with one saying "She is a celebrity, I am sure that they think they don't have to fork out for anything. But a lot of the locals are not very happy about her not paying the most important person in the ceremony - the vicar."
Another added, "I'm quite annoyed about this - Liz Hurley really should have paid for this by now. She made so much money from the wedding it is only fair that she pays it. As you can imagine, it is difficult for the vicar to bring up the fact that he hasn't been paid."
Another local said that some "complained about the helicopters which must have been dropping off all the celebrities...It all seems very naughty to me."
The couple's second wedding in India was slammed by Hurley's in-laws who claim that the couple insulted Hinduism by drinking alcohol and wearing leather shoes by the fire.
