Rachel Stevens burst into tears on a flight from Los Angeles after being refused an upgrade to first class, reports Sunday Mirror.
She repeatedly told cabin crew that she had been promised a first class seat. As the row continued, she asked, "Don't you know who you am?"
The flight's senior cabin crew worker then told the former S Club 7 singer, that he did recognise her but she would have to sit in the area that she had purchased a ticket for saying, "Go back to your seat, Miss Stevens."
An onlooker revealed, "It was embarrassing to watch. Rachel's bottom lip started quivering and she burst into tears like a child."
A spokesperson for Stevens said: "Rachel was offered an upgrade when she booked her ticket. But when she came to check in they didn't have a note on the system. After explaining the situation, she boarded the plane and had a lovely flight."
