Peter Andre has been told by doctors that he is suffering from meningitis, reports DigitalSpy.He was admitted to hospital last weekend but a series of tests failed to find anything wrong until he was diagnosed with viral meningitis yesterday. The condition is less dangerous than bacterial meningitis, which has a high risk of causing death if left untreated.
Andre's wife Katie Price visited him in hospital last night, arriving with a camera crew. She told reporters, "No comment, not unless you give me £1 million."
A friend of the couple told The Sun: "Jordan has been sick with worry, but at least now they know what it is. Peter fell ill in the US, where they were doing promotion work for their fly-on-the-wall TV show."
"He should be home in four or five days."
