Michael Jackson Has Died

Music icon Michael Jackson died on 25th June - he was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him, reports TMZ. It is reported, that when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source told TMZ that the music icon was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA revealed to TMZ that Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was unresponsive.

A source inside the hospital told TMZ there was "absolute chaos" after Jackson arrrived. People who were with the singer were screaming, "You've got to save him! You've got to save him!"

Apparently one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

His sister La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Following the news of his death websites such as Blogger, Twitter & YouTube appear to be bombared with traffic.

The 'King of Pop' & moon-walking star faced controversy in recent years but he was preparing for a set of huge comeback dates in London later this year.

His death came on the same day as Charlie's Angels star Farrah Fawcett, 62, lost her battle against cancer.

Sacha Baron Cohen's alter ego, Bruno made quite an entrance at the MTV Move Awards this past weekend when he flew in and landed on Eminem, with his bottom barely inches away from the rapper's face. Eminem was seen storming off after the incident.

But MTV writer Scott Aukerman today revealed "Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That's all anyone wants to talk about, so let's get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then."

Hollyoaks actress Emma Rigby has quit her role in the Channel 4 soap after nearly four years, reports Digital Spy.

Rigby scooped the Best Actress award at this year's British Soap Awards and hopes to pursue other drama, film and theatre projects.

The 19-year-old, who plays Hannah Ashworth, told Digital Spy, "I've been on Hollyoaks since I was 15 and I've grown up on the show. I'm so very fortunate to be given the opportunity to learn my craft in such a fantastic environment. I just feel that the time is right to move on and hopefully get into dramas and films as I love to play different roles."

Emma finishes filming with the Chester-based soap in March and will remain on screen until June.

Kim Cattrall, who played maneater Samantha Jones in the hit TV series Sex And The City, was the last of the original main cast - which included Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis - to agree to star in the big-screen adaptation.

Earlier this year, Parker talked about the possibility of a sequel to the blockbuster.

Speaking in a TV interview on Tuesday, Cattrall revealed that a follow-up is indeed in the pipeline.

She said, "Yes, there will be a sequel. We will do the sequel next summer."

"We wanted to (film) the first time, and now we're hopefully doing it again for the second time".

However, she added that it was "difficult getting everybody who's so incredibly busy all together at the same time".

The rumours are true - Dannii Minogue is likely to be axed from the X Factor in 2009.

Rumours have been circulating that X Factor judge and mentor Dannii Minogue will not return to the show next year and this week's heat magazine has the inside scoop.

A well-placed source told the magazine, "Dannii was brought in initially to be the younger counterpart to Sharon, but since Cheryl arrived, she has replaced Dannii in that role and become so much more popular. It's doubtful Dannii will be here for the next series."

While they'll keep the current line-up until the end of the series, it looks like Dannii could be out in 2009.

Despite previous rumours suggesting that Sharon Osbourne could make a comeback, apparently that's out of the question. "Sharon won't be coming back," says the source. "Instead the idea at the moment is to bring in a younger, male judge."

In an interview with heat magazine the Chasing Pavements singer said, "I'm really mouthy about not having the Hollywood look. Everyone asks me "Why don't you feel pressured to get the Hollywood look?" and I'm like, "Because I don't." I'm not going to stop eating food that I like. I mean, I quite like my eyes and my lips. I don't like my double chin or my gut, but I don't not like them enough to do something about it."

The 20-year-old has just moved out of her mum's house in West Norwood and bought her own one-bedroom flat in Notting Hill.

Despite having previously been photographed falling out of showbiz parties, Adele says she's given up her boozing lifestyle. "I've stopped drinking," she said. "It was clouding my judgement a little bit. I'm more interested in mopping my floor at the moment because I've got my own flat now."

She laughed, "At least when I'm older I can say I lived in Notting Hill once."

Newly single, Adele, who admits to having had a four-month flame until September, says she loves the freedom of her new lifestyle. "I'm always confused when there's a boy around," she said. "You just give up all your feelings for them and run around like a d**khead. I'm a fool for love."

Asked about her ideal man, the singer says she needs someone to make her laugh and adds, "Of course I fancy Justin Timberlake".

According to The Sun, Brand wants to leave for Los Angeles, where his movie career is taking off but has been held back in the UK because of commitments to his Channel 4 show Ponderland.
A source said, "He just wants to get on the next plane out of England - and get away from this mess. Russell rushed along the filming so he could get to LA as soon as possible."

Brand and Jonathan Ross were suspended by the BBC after the pair left explicit comments on the voicemail of Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs. Brand later resigned from the show, saying that he took "complete responsibility" for the stunt and became "caught up in the moment".

Jonathan Ross has been suspended from all BBC shows without pay for 12 weeks following the prank calls row.

It follows comments made by Ross and Russell Brand on Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs voicemail as they were on Brand's Radio 2 show. Russell Brand has resigned from his Radio 2 programme.

Sachs was upset after Brand and Ross left a series of lewd messages on his voicemail as part of a pre-recorded show, taped on 16 October. The show was broadcast two days later. The pair made obscene comments about the actor's 23-year-old granddaughter Georgina Baillie during four separate phone calls.

An extract fromone of the messages: As Brand begins to leave a message, Ross blurts out: "He fucked your granddaughter... I'm sorry I apologise. Andrew, I apologise, I got excited, what can I say - it just came out."

Prime Minister Gordon Brown calls the incident "clearly inappropriate and unacceptable".

The total number of complaints has passed 27,000, reports BBC.

Body Discovered In Search For Hudson's Nephew

Police searching for Jennifer Hudson's seven-year-old nephew said they have found a boy's body, reports The Press Association.

Julian King was last seen on Friday, when the Oscar-winning actress's mother and brother were found shot dead in a "domestic related" incident in their Chicago home, police said.

Hudson offered a 100,000 dollar (£64,574) reward for the safe return of her nephew on Sunday night.

The identity of the body, found inside a white SUV vehicle, has not been confirmed. A spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed they have sent investigators to the scene.

A Chicago police spokesman refused to comment on the identity of the body.

The Chicago Tribune cites law enforcement sources who say the boy was shot multiple times while in the back of the vehicle.

TMZ reports that Jennifer Hudson is on her way to the Medical Examiner's office to identify the body.

Emmerdale actress Emma Davies is to leave the ITV soap at the end of her current contract, reports DigitalSpy.

The 38-year-old actress, who joined the show in June as Anna De Souza, is due to finish filming within the next couple of weeks and will bow out when her storyline reaches a dramatic climax in December.

The storyline will also involve the exit of her screen father Donald de Souza (Michael Jayston) and screen lover Matthew King (Matt Healy).

The mother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson was reportedly found dead in a South Side home, according to a representative of the family's church, CBS Station WBBM-TV in Chicago reported.

Two adults were found fatally shot at a home at 3 p.m. Friday, authorities said. Willie Davis, the pastor of the Hudson family's church, Progressive Baptist, confirmed that 57-year-old Darnell Hudson Donnerson was one of the victims.

The other victim was a man, the Chicago Fire Department said.

The shooting is believed to be domestic.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office has been notified of the deaths of two people from a home at the address, but additional information is unavailable.

"We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson," Hudson's representative, Lisa Kasteler, said in a statement. "No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time."

Chicago police have named William Balfour as "a suspect in the double homicide". The man, who is currently in custody, reportedly lived at Donerson's home last year.

Stars of the BBC show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Mark Foster and his partner Hayley Holt joined a host of celebrities at Heathrow yesterday on Sunday 19th October to send nearly 200 seriously ill and disabled children on a British Airways’ Dreamflight to Florida.

Celebrating its 22nd year, Dreamflight is a UK charity set up by British Airways cabin crew – that takes seriously ill and disabled children on a holiday of a lifetime to the theme parks of Central Florida.

The roll call of stars included Paralympic athletes Dzaier Neil and Matt Skelhon, as well as TV personalities Sir Cliff Richard, Chico, Patsy Palmer and Emma Barton along with marching bands and children’s entertainers.

British Airways’ chief executive Willie Walsh, who also attended, said, “Dreamflight is always a highlight in the BA calendar – we’re delighted to be able to support this great charity and make dreams come true for these deserving children.”

British Airways has been involved in Dreamflight from its launch and more than 4,000 children have benefited. The cabin crew who operate the flights volunteer their time.
Foster, who is better known as one of Britain’s all time great swimmers said, “It is a pleasure to come down and show our support to Dreamflight. An aircraft hangar is the most unusual place that Hayley and I have ever danced.”

During their ten-day trip the children will visit Disneyland, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and MGM studios. The trip will culminate with a final stop to Discovery Cove, for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to swim with dolphins.
