Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman celebrate the arrival of baby son Max.

The songstress conceived during the U.S. leg of her tour, 3 months earlier than anticipated. She and her music producer husband, Jordan, 30, met in Atlanta in 2002 and married in November 2005.

The couple has just bought Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s former home and major renovations are underway. Max’s nursery is decorated with specially designed Japanese cartoon wallpaper and is furnished with a gigantic moon - a prop from Christina’s recent tour.

Christina gave birth on January 12th in Los Angeles by planned C-section claiming she ‘didn’t want any surprises’. Speaking to Hello! magazine she said: “I’d heard horror stories about tearing! I really wanted a calm and peaceful environment. It was just a really nice relaxing way to give birth.”

As Jordan is Jewish they also arranged a bris, the Hebrew baby naming and circumcision ritual ceremony.

Jordan was keen to film the birth but doctors restricted him from filming the C-section procedure. He managed to turn the camera on just before they delivered Max. Christina recalled: “Jordan wasn’t squeamish at all. He had the video camera ready to go.”

“The most reassuring thing for me was hearing that first beautiful cry. I just welled up with tears.”

She added: “We can’t stop staring at him. We study him, he studies us back. It’s just an unbelievable experience, the whole journey. It’s just a beautiful time in our lives.”

“Max is going to grow up in a house where there’s lots of love. And lots of lessons will be taught based on being thankful and appreciative.”

Christina wants a big family and says: “We even look forward to possibly one day being open to adopt.”

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have become the parents of a boy and girl.

Lopez gave birth to twins reports People magazine.

A rep for Lopez commented: "Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon."

The twins are Lopez's first children and Anthony's third and fourth.

Samantha Mumba Has New Intimate Tattoo

Dublin-born star Samantha Mumba, who now lives in LA, is dating American policeman Torray Scales, 24. The pair met at a nightclub six months ago and are planning to move in together.

Speaking to Closer magazine she revealed, "He was very sweet and asked me out for dinner. We've been inseparable ever since. He loves my body and the sexy outfits I wore for Dancing on Ice."

The tattoo is so big it appears over the top of her bikini briefs as she poses for pictures. Sam won't reveal what it's of or what it means.

Kirsten Dunst Enters Rehab

Kirsten Dunst has entered rehab, a source close to the actress has confirmed to People.

The Spider-Man star is being treated at the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah, the same facility where Lindsay Lohan spent nearly two months and where Eva Mendes recently checked in, according to the source.

"She's not doing well," the source says.

"People were pushing her to go in there but there was no intervention… She has been partying hard for a while and I'm sure the Heath Ledger thing put people over the edge."

Ma & Pa Spears: Britney's Life At Risk

The life of troubled singer Britney Spears has been put at risk by her early release from a hospital in Los Angeles, her parents have said.

Jamie (pictured) and Lynne Spears said they were "extremely disappointed" that their daughter had been released against the recommendation of her psychiatrist.

Britney, accompanied by private security guards, slipped out of the UCLA Medical Center a week earlier than expected, reports BBC.

In a joint statement, her parents said: "We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."

Britney had been undergoing psychiatric evaluation since 31 January.

Ledger Death 'Accidental Overdose'

Heath Ledger died accidentally from an overdose of six different types of prescription medication.

The New York City Medical Examiner's Office announced that the actor suffered "acute intoxication'' from the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine.

The Brokeback Mountain star was found dead at his Manhattan apartment on January 22. He was naked in his bed, with a variety of sleeping pills nearby. Anti-anxiety drugs were also found in the apartment.

Javine Hylton Goes Naked In Closer

Javine Hylton is the latest star to show off her pregnant curves.

The 25-year-old singer, who is nowdue to give birth soon, is expecting her first child with partner MC Harvey.

While she bares almost all for magazine shoot, Javine insists she's self-conscious about her new shape, "I feel a bit rubbish about myself."

The couple met while performing together in West End musical Daddy Cool in 2006. They controversially embarked on an affair while Harvey was still married to Strictly Come Dancing winner Alesha Dixon, 29. The couple now live together in north London.

Tanya Branning is to drug her cheating husband and bury him alive in EastEnders.

Tanya is out for revenge after she discovered Max's affair with Stacey on Christmas Day. The couple are also battling over the custody of their kids.

Tanya plans to seduce and drug him, then place him in a coffin and bury it in woods. The ordeal resurrects painful memories for Max, as his father Jim Branning buried him alive as a child.

A BBC source told The Sun, “Viewers will have to wait to find out whether Max lives or dies.”

Chemical Brothers DJ Simons was reported to have broken up with Lily Allen last week, and according to the Daily Star Alfie is angry with Simons' behaviour.

He hunted down the DJ in North London and had to be dragged away by his girlfriend Jaime Winstone, say reports.

"Alfie is very protective of his big sister and wants to knock Ed’s head off his shoulders," said a source.

"Lily has just suffered the upset of a miscarriage and now Ed has ended their relationship and she is really struggling to deal with the heartbreak. Alfie talked with her after she’d met up with Ed again and got it into his head his sister was being messed around.
"On Friday night, he decided he needed to have a word with him and tracked him down to a pal’s house in North London. It was the early hours of the morning and he wasn’t let in so he just screamed that he wanted a word with him and that he should know why.

"But he was dragged away by Jaime. She was heard telling him to ‘just leave it’. He wanted to bring Ed to account."

Singer/actress Katharine McPhee married producer Nick Cokas on Saturday in Beverly Hills; her rep has confirmed to People.

The 23-year-old American Idol season five runner-up and Cokas, 42, exchanged vows in a late afternoon ceremony at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church.

Kat told People, "(Nick) is the love of my life. This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect."

The pair became friends when they met in 2005. Their relationship became more serious when Kat auditioned for American Idol later that year.

Rob James Collier Quits Corrie

Coronation Street actor Rob James-Collier has quit after just under two years with the ITV soap over fears of being "typecast".

The 31-year-old, who has played Weatherfield's Liam Connor since 2006, reportedly revealed his intention to leave only days before filming his on-screen wedding to Maria Sutherland (Samia Smith).

A source told the News of the World, "Nobody was expecting this and it's bad news because Liam has become hugely popular with fans. He won 'Sexiest Male' at the British Soap Awards and they had big things planned for him."

"He says that he doesn't want to be typecast."

A spokeswoman confirmed to DigitalSpy, "We've known for some time that Rob would be leaving at the end of his current contract. It's given the writers time to pen a really good exit storyline for his character, Liam.

"Rob will remain filming with us until around October and he will bow out on screen at the end of the year."

Torvill Prepares To Skate Solo

Dancing On Ice star Jayne Torvill will skate alone for the first time in 35 years on tonight's show as her partner Christopher Dean recovers from surgery, reports Daily Mail.

He will appear on Dancing On Ice as a mentor but will not perform his usual dance routine with Torvill, 50, at the opening of the ITV show.

Dean said, "It'll be odd for me to see Jayne skate on her own - I'll be itching to get out there on the ice with her."

Torvill, 50, admitted being nervous about skating solo in public for the first time.

She said, "This week will be odd to be out there on my own. I might feel a bit lonely."

"But Chris has choreographed my routine and I swear he's given me one that's harder than ever."

Chris, 49 should be back on the ice next week.

Britney's Father Has Control Of Her Estate

Britney Spears has had control of her estate and her own welfare taken from her, under order of a court, reports BBC.

The singer and her assets have been placed under the "conservatorship" of her father, James Spears. A court creates a conservatorship when a person cannot care for himself or herself or handle their own affairs.

Court commissioner Reva Goetz said Spears would be under conservatorship until 4 February, when another hearing will be held.

The conservators will have power over the 26-year-old singer's liquid assets and can bar people from visiting her, officials said.

The Los Angeles court also placed a restraining order on Spears' manager Sam Lutfi, and gave permission to change the locks on her estate and remove anyone who was there.

Britney was admitted to a psychiatric hospital on Thursday.

Hollyoaks Star 'Frustrated' At 'Underrated Soap'

Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna has admitted that she feels "frustrated" by the lack of attention given to the show.

The actress, who plays Carmel McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, revealed that the cast and crew will be fighting for more recognition this year.

Gemma told the Daily Star, "We are completely underrated as a show, which is so frustrating. People just think we are gorgeous models who have nothing else to offer."

"But the truth is we have some seriously talented actors and we're fed up with being the little sister to Corrie, EastEnders and Emmerdale. We're fighters and we're so passionate about what we do. We have the balls and just go for it. And I think we should get credit for that!"

Merna was nominated for the Best Newcomer title at last year's British Soap Awards, lost out to Coronation Street actress Kym Ryder.

She added, "When we don't pick up awards, it just makes us even more determined to go out and prove we can be even better...we can pack a good punch."

"We're not going to stop fighting to get the recognition we deserve. We're damn good actors and we will prove that over the next 12 months."

Bedingfield Denies Snubbing UK Fans

Natasha Bedingfield has insisted that she is not turning her back on her UK fans.

The singer faced criticism after she was forced to cancel a British tour because she was busy promoting her album Pocketful of Sunshine in the US - which debuted at #3 in the US Billboard charts.

Natasha told the Daily Star, "I'm not abandoning anyone. It just happened that my album had to come out in the US now."

"England is still my home and I want to be successful here. It's important for my English fans to know that I do care about them. That's why I'm busy video blogging all the time to keep in touch."

The 'Unwritten' singer added, "I'm going to announce a gig for fans who bought tickets to my tour and it will be free."

Van Outen Chooses Barrowman As Hunky Pin-Up

Denise Van Outen, who is dating Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat star, Lee Mead, has selected John Barrowman as her pin-up.

She tells Heat magazine: "I think he looks like Tom Cruise. I love him - whenever I do a TV show he knocks on my dressing room door with his willy hanging out."

Hot Model Joins Neighbours

Neighbours producers have announced that Imogen Bailey has joined the cast of the Aussie soap.

The gorgeous model, has signed up to play Miranda Parker's younger sister Nicola West. She has already started filming.

Bailey told Adelaide Now, "Acting is a passion of mine. It has been a slow burn. I have done bits and pieces over the years. When my agent called and said I had the role, I thought he was joking.''

"I had a sexy image and I am proud of my modelling and what I was able to do with my image. But I am getting to a point in my life where I am trying to shed that [image] a little bit.''

Bailey has also appeared on Celebrity Survivor and Celebrity Big Brother in Australia.

The openly gay comedian says he would love a partner but would not go for a formal civil partnership.

Rivalry On Ice (Queens)

The Sun reports that the rivalry between ex-Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw and Zaraah Abrahams is so bitter that show bosses have had to split them up in rehearsals.

An insider said, “It’s very icy between Suzanne and Zaraah. They are kept apart and we organised totally different practice times. They’re trying to outdo one another by doing bigger lifts.”

Shaw, 26, was way ahead of the female competition by scoring the top marks on the ITV1 show. But ex-Coronation Street actress Zaraah arrived on the scene last week to replace injured GMTV presenter Michael Underwood — and impressed the judges.

The 20-year-old got 18.5 from the judges last Sunday — despite coming into the competition two weeks late— and was told she had given a “true Week Three performance”.

Suzanne scored 20.5, but judge Jason Gardiner told her, “I was expecting better from you.”

The insider added, “The girls have a battle on.”

Gladiators In Sky One Revival

Sky One has ordered ten new episodes of Gladiators. The US comeback-version has enjoyed success and is hosted by Hulk Hogan & Laila Ali.

The original UK version, was shown on ITV and ran from 1992 to 2000.

The new run of hour-long episodes on Sky was commissioned by director of programming Richard Woolfe, who said:

"I am delighted to announce that the unmissable '90s TV show Gladiators is returning to British screens and it will be bigger and better than ever before. We've witnessed the revival of Take That and The Spice Girls; Sky One viewers can look forward to a televisual treat..."

Sky will air the new series starting in May, and is currently hunting for a team of 12 new gladiators. According to rumours Ian Wright could be the host.

Spice Girls Cancel World Tour Dates

The Spice Girls have cancelled their world tour after just two months of performances and following reports of poor ticket sales, reports Daily Mail.

So far, they have performed in the UK, Canada, the US and in Europe. But instead of playing dates in Australia, Argentina, and China the five will finish the reunion tour in Toronto on February 26.

After they were presented with a new tour schedule the friend said to the Daily Mirror, "Mel B wasn't having any of it. She misses her husband and children and said she couldn't go on. She's also been flooded with US offers after her success on Dancing With Stars. "

"Mel C agreed it was time to call it a day. She was the least excited about it. She also feared it might jeopardise her solo career."

Officially, a spokesman for the girls said: "Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria."

Apparently the girls have already bagged £20million from their re-formation.

Winehouse Put On Drip In Hospital

Amy Winehouse has spent a night in hospital and was put on a drip, her father Mitch has confirmed. He said it was needed "to rehydrate her after she'd been vomiting" as part of her treatment for drug addiction, reports BBC.

Mr Winehouse said the singer, who was admitted to rehab last month, was moved to hospital because her clinic did not have sufficient medical facilities.

"Everything is going according to plan and she's perfectly OK," Mr Winehouse told BBC radio station 1Xtra, adding that she was now back in the rehab clinic.

The singer agreed to receive treatment after a film of her apparently smoking a crack pipe emerged last month.

He added it was still unclear if she would attend the Grammy Awards as she was still under "medical supervision". She has been nominated for six gongs at the ceremony, which is being held in Los Angeles on 10 February.

Amy is planning to appeal after being arrested and fined in Norway in October for possession of cannabis.

New Maria Planted In Hollyoaks

Andrew Lloyd Webber has unveiled his new Maria - an actress he planted on the soap Hollyoaks.

Summer Strallen, 23, has been playing Summer Shaw in the Channel 4 soap since October.

Fans of the soap have seen her pursue her dreams of West End stardom, even stalking Lord Lloyd Webber. In today's episode, she finally impressed Webber.

In reality Strallen, the niece of Bonnie Langford, secured the role in The Sound Of Music six months ago. Strallen previously appeared in Cats.

Over the next month, viewers will watch Strallen rehearse in the run-up to opening night on February 26, when she exits Hollyoaks and makes her debut in London's West End.

She will succeed Connie Fisher, who won the role in the BBC1 talent contest How Do We Solve A Problem Like Maria?

Lloyd Webber said he was approached with the idea before the BBC talent contest was broadcast. Hollyoaks producer Tony Wood suggested blurring reality and fiction when he was working at Coronation Street.

Lloyd Webber said, "I thought, 'Do you know what, it's never been done before and it's funny.'"

Grey's Anatomy Star Exhausted

Grey's Anatomy actor Justin Chambers checked into hospital suffering from exhaustion earlier this week.

Chambers, 37, who plays Dr Alex Karev in the hit medical drama, was admitted to the psychiatric ward at the UCLA medical centre on Monday.

His spokesperson told TMZ that he went to the hospital "voluntarily to get some help" because he was "exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder".

He checked out of the facility on Wednesday - apparently he left just before the arrival of Britney Spears.

Eva Mendes In Rehab

Actress Eva Mendes is in a rehab facility in Utah battling a substance abuse problem.

Eva is at the famous Cirque Lodge, which treated Lindsay Lohan and other stars, is one of the most respected treatment facilities in the US.

Eva has been at Cirque for several weeks.

Her rep told TMZ, "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva's privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details."

My Family Star Joins Eastenders

Siobhan Hayes has joined the cast of EastEnders.

The 32-year-old – who is most noted for playing dimwit Abi Harper on My Family – is to play the role of Melinda, the WAG-wannabe partner of Walford returnee Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen).

A Walford source told DigitalSpy, "Ricky returns to the Square for his dad Frank's funeral and turns up with Melinda - but is it true love or just a fling between them?"

Sid Owen and Patsy Palmer (Bianca) returned to filming with the BBC soap last month and will make their on-screen comeback in March.
