Shakira Donates $45 Million To Charity

Hips Dont' Lie singer Shakira has donated $45 million to charity, reports TMZ.

Forty million will go to Nicaragua and Peru to help people following recent natural disasters there, and $5 million will go to educational projects benefiting children across Latin America.

Sources tell TMZ that Nicole Richie is set to marry Joel Madden in a small ceremony that is to take place October 13 in Laguna Beach, California.

Nicole is currently about 6 months pregnant.

Britney Spears is hoping to win back her estranged husband Kevin Federline, according to a source.

But K-Fed is dating Playboy gal Nicole Narain and has told Britney that he has no plans to get back with her.

A source close to Kevin told the News of the World, "Britney's bouncing off the walls with rage and has been calling Kev day and night to check he's not with Nicole."

"She's desperately jealous and wants to keep Kevin's attention on her. She wants him back. She thinks by getting Kevin back he'll drop the custody battle - but that's not going to happen."

Brit is hoping that Kevin will drop his custody battle for their two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Michael Jackson Wedding Reports Slammed

Michael Jackson’s reps have denied reports that the singer has married his children's nanny.

Real estate documents allegedly showed that Jackson had married 40-year-old Grace Rwaramba in Las Vegas earlier this year.

But Jacko’s publicist said, "Wide spreading reports regarding Michael Jackson being married are not true. Documents stating otherwise are a hoax."

A few days ago a source reportedly told the National Enquirer, "Grace was happy to go along with it. She's always been devoted to Michael and has raised the kids since the day they were born. Michael knew she'd make a perfect stepmother."

Jackson has been married twice before, to Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie for two years in 1994, and then for three years to Debbie Rowe, who is the mother of his ten-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter, reports Digital Spy.

Halle Berry Hires Security Following Racist Threats

Halle Berry has hired security guards because of racist threats to her unborn baby, reports The Mirror.

The star, three months pregnant, has received letters at her LA home from an anonymous person.

One said she and her child would be "cut into hundreds of pieces".

Halle, 41, who has a white father and an African-American mother, is expecting her first child with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.

A source close to the Oscar winning actress said, "Halle does not normally use security but she has taken on a couple of guys to make sure." Police are investigating the threats.

Dina Lohan: Lindsay Staying In Rehab

It was rumoured that Lindsay Lohan was going to leave rehab this weekend, but her mother put an end to the speculation.

"Not true," Dina Lohan, 45, told Access Hollywood in an e-mail, "staying in Utah."

A source close to Lindsay told People, "Lindsay is not leaving Cirque Lodge in Utah any time soon. She has a few more weeks to grow and develop, and she is doing great."

Lindsay, 21, entered rehab following her arrest on suspicion of drunken driving after a brief car chase. At the police station a "small" amount of cocaine was found in her pocket, said a Santa Monica police spokesman.

Uncle Kracker Pleads Guilty

Uncle Kracker pleaded guilty today in a North Carolina court to misdemeanor charges he assaulted a woman in a downtown nightclub after a concert. Apparently the woman slapped him and he slapped her back. The woman later reported the incident to an off-duty police officer, reports Yahoo!

The judge sentenced Kracker, whose real name is Matthew Shafer, to 12 months probation and fined him $1,500. Kracker must also undergo an assessment to determine if he's addicted to alcohol.

A representative for Usher confirmed to MTV News that the singer and his wife, Tameka Foster, are expecting a baby boy.

On ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ last month, Usher said that if the baby is a boy, he'd like to name him Usher. "If it's a boy, I'm going to name him Usher," he said. "I'm hoping to name him that. I've been playing with a few names. I'm the fourth: Usher Raymond IV. I just want to pass the name on. Maybe I'll change the middle name."

Shilpa Shetty Arrested Over Gere Kiss

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty was arrested and held at Mumbai airport for obscenity charges in connection with the public kiss between her and Richard Gere.

Gere kissed Shetty five months ago during an AIDS awareness charity event in India, causing outrage from strict Hindus who claimed Shetty had violated the country's obscenity laws.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner was reportedly stopped while she was travelling to Berlin to attend the opening of musical Miss Bollywood.

A court issued an arrest warrant against Chicago actor Gere and prevented Shetty from leaving the country, but the immigration department did not realise that it had been overturned by the Supreme Court.

Spokesman for Shilpa, Dale Bhagwagar, said, "She called me in the middle of the night and was in tears."

Shetty said, "I can understand something like this if I'd committed a criminal offence. But what was my offence, when I'm just an actor, going to perform a musical on foreign land?"

Shetty was later allowed to continue her journey after she had to undergo a series of questions.

Fox Pleads Not Guilty To DUI

An attorney for actress Vivica A. Fox pleaded not guilty to charges that Vivica was drink-driving.

The Kill Bill actress was not in court herself. Prosecutors charged Fox with one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving over the legal limit of .08, reports TMZ. When cops pulled her over last March she blew .09 and failed the breath test.

She is due back in court on October 29.

Reality TV star Jade Goody was devastated by a burglary at her £500,000 home in which valuables worth up to £30,000 were stolen.

The burglars smashed a window at the house which was packed with widescreen televisions and state-of-the-art electrical equipment, reports Daily Mail.

The Big Brother star is reported to have stormed out screaming, "I've been f****ing burgled!" as police examined the scene.

When police arrived they noticed that the tax disc on Jade's car was out of date, so she she had to rush to buy a new one.

Jade, who split from Jack Tweed a while ago, "has not stopped crying," since the burgulary say pals according to Metro.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are planning to build a £5 million bunker under their Colorado home to protect them from alien attacks, reports claim.

A source close to Cruise - who is a leading Scientologist - said the actor is to erect a "self-contained underground system where up to 10 people can survive for years".

The bunker will reportedly include a high-tech air-purification system and storage space for supplies and survival equipment.

Kerry Katona Suffers Miscarriage

Kerry Katona has miscarried just hours after announcing she was pregnant with her fourth child.

The 27-year-old, who was between five and six weeks pregnant, was taken to hospital by her husband Mark Croft at 7am yesterday after facing early complications.

Her spokesperson Max Clifford told the Daily Mirror, "Kerry was only a few weeks pregnant. She's sad but she's young and healthy and they had a baby not so long ago."

The former Atomic Kitten singer decided to announce her pregnancy early in a cover story for OK! Magazine where she revealed that she had "been bleeding a lot." Hours later poor Kerry lost her child.

Mariah Carey has discovered she is related to Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole.

The singer has been tracing her family tree across America, apparently she hopes that she will discover that she was distantly related to singer Nat King Cole.

According to the Daily Star, Carey's grandparents are from the same area of America as Cole's family.

Carey said, "It’s fascinating. My grandmother was a Cole before she married and it turns out she comes from the same area of Alabama as his [Ashley’s] ancestors."

"We are still looking into it to see if we’re also related to Nat King Cole. I’m such a huge fan of his. That would be wonderful and would explain so much."

A friend of Cole said, "Ashley is chuffed to bits to hear that they’re related. He’s always been a big fan of Mariah and grew up listening to jazz legends like Nat King Cole."
