Busta Rhymes was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in New York, reports BBC.Police stopped Mr Rhymes during the early hours of Thursday because his car windows were too tinted.
Officers then smelt alcohol on his breath and he was taken into custody.
Rhymes - real name Trevor Smith - is currently also facing two separate assault charges.
The rapper and actor is due to appear in court next week on two separate charges of assaulting his driver and a fan who allegedly spat on his car last year.
